CONCORD, NH – A jackpot winning ticket was sold for tonight’s Tri-State Megabucks drawing at Market Basket (Daniel Webster Highway) in Nashua. The estimated jackpot was $3.7 million (annuitized) and the lucky winning numbers were 3-4-9-12-24-34 and the Bonus Number: 32. Tonight’s winner matched the first six numbers and not the bonus number to win the jackpot! This is the 80th jackpot winning ticket sold in New Hampshire for the Megabuck’s game since it began in 1985. The last jackpot winner from the Granite State was in September of 2007. The P & D Trust of Laconia elected to take a lump sum cash payment of $485,224 before taxes.
Tonight’s jackpot had been building since it was last won on May 17, 2008 in the state of Maine. That jackpot winning ticket was sold at McFadden’s Variety in Lubec. To date there have been 197 jackpot winners from Maine, 155 jackpot winners from New Hampshire and 79 jackpot winners from Vermont.
